Traveling during an IVF cycle is nearly impossible. Shots have to be taken at very specific times, and the daily clinic visits and refrigerated medications keep patients close to home and add intensity to the process. Tonight though, a friend is having a birthday party that we don’t want to miss, so we load the car with flowers for her and a cooler full of medicine for me. I’m not drinking, and we have to leave early to get rest for tomorrow’s early clinic appointment, but it’s still a fun reprieve.

At the clinic yesterday, I learned that I have a good number of follicles, but not all of them are growing at the desired rate. I wish there were more, but my doctor says I have enough to move forward, and for that I am grateful.
