Traveling during an IVF cycle is nearly impossible. The daily clinic visits and refrigerated medications are a like tether that keeps me close to home and adds to the intensity of this process. Tonight, a friend is having a birthday party a few hours from home that we don’t want to miss, so we loaded up the car with flowers for her and a cooler full of medicine for me. I’m not drinking alcohol, and we can’t stay long since I have to wake up the next morning for an early fertility clinic appointment, but it will still be a fun reprieve from the monotony of the IVF process.

At the clinic yesterday, I learned that I have a good number of follicles, but not all of them are growing at the desired rate. I wish there were more, but my doctor says I have enough to move forward, and for that I am grateful.
